In this activity, students learn about the three states of matter using materials found around the home in a hands-on approach that is both fun and engaging. The instructions are clear and concise, and the experiment can be done with minimal parent/guardian support. Not only can students complete the activity and compare the 3 states, but also answer the discussion questions at the end as they practice critical thinking as junior scientists.
