This is a great lesson that promotes deductive reasoning in order to create a prehistoric food web for dinosaurs based on clues given by fossils. The lesson has a concise flow that allows the learner to reason their way to finding a solution. The print-outs and visuals are of very high quality and use engaging visuals. I love how the host explains the food web as a flow of energy from prey to predator, rather than a food chain which shows which predator eats the prey. This type of viewpoint allows the student so understand the concept in a much larger scope. Additionally, the host consistently prompts discussion with assessment questions to solidify the understanding of the subject. What I also love about this resource is that all of their support documents and print-out are fully editable and customizable online, so technically the activity can be done without the need for a printer.
