Quick activity but fun for my 5 1/2 year old. He didn't want to be the one to poke the balloon originally but I told him it was his experiment and if he wanted it done, he had to do it. He did it and was pretty proud of himself afterwards. A fun and easy experiment for younger kids with supervision.
