There are only words involved in this lesson for students to be able to access the content. Small font, lots of words can be overwhelming, particularly for third graders. I realize someone would be guiding them through this lesson but materials also need to be accessible for the student to interact with the content and words only doesn't provide that experience. Incorporating short videos or even making some of the pertinent text voice-enabled (consider our special needs population–how would they access this lesson?). The topic is high interest for kids and I think they would really like the activity but it needs to have some more multi-modality content offerings.
