This activity is fun and engaging for all elementary students because watching the colored bubbles float up and fall back down is just amusing and sometimes calming. This doesn't require very many materials and they are easy to obtain, if they are not readily at home. Any see through jar or bottle will work, even a regular water bottle. Younger students may need some assistance pouring the oil into the bottle, otherwise students should be able to complete the activity with minimal guidance.
