I enjoy this activity because it is a great practice in engineering and teaching kids about structural integrity with very little materials necessary. The only thing I would be wary of is that the pasta can easily break and kids might get frustrated or discouraged quickly. If you're doing this experiment with the kdis, don't tell them how to do it, but make sure to ask them why they think it doesn't work when it breaks.
