This project is awesome as it encourages kids to get out side and really observe and think critically about their surroundings in a new way. The lesson teaches kids to think about pet safety as well as learn about being a cartographer. Kids are exploring and discovering plants to. This may be a struggle for very little kids to understand the aerial view concept of the map, but they may learn a new skill here as well as all the other benefits out exploring out side.
