This resource is all about planning for the future with more alternative energy sources. It covers the history of energy then transitions into making a city plan which will eliminate pollution.
This Mystery encourages civil engineering research about your towns natural features while taking into accounts the limitations of each alternative energy source. The activity itself leaves something to be desired as it is not very engaging but it does have plenty of information. I’d recommend this for third to fourth graders who already have an interest in alternative energy. Solar energy is certainly a hot topic.
