Smell you later!
This activity has to do with how smells can escape through elastomers when the molecules are stretched further apart. For this activity, you need some type of balloon or glove that can stretched and a liquid with a strong smell.
This is a fun science activity which is framed as a game to complete with a group. I tried this activity with multiple different smells to mixed results which is part of science and experimenting. I found vanilla and garlic oil had the most pungent smell. I’d recommend this activity to anyone who wants to play a little game and learn a little science by using the scent-er of their face.
