In this activity, there is a difficult engineering goal with a clear objective. If you’re interested in a tough challenges, this is a perfect activity for you.
The JPL website is excellent in providing multiple visual aids and supplemental information to aid you on your quest to land an object on a target using a zip line. I’ve done very similar activities working as an educator over the years but I love how this one has a hard challenge that can be accomplished in multiple ways. The project has its up and downs but it’s a great way to get your engineering skills off the ground!
