I'm Hiding
In this activity, young scientists draw their favorite animal and try to match which habitat they would camouflage best in. Camouflage is an adaptation certain animals have to help blend in to their environment. This helps them hide from other animals like predators or sneak up on their prey.
I’ve never done this activity but have seen a similar activity with a magnet board at Ocean Quest.

I like the format of the mystery science moth camouflage activity better than this one because that one the patterns themselves match between tree and moth. A suggestion to make this one more like that one is to rearrange the order of the procedure. Draw your environment first with patterns then draw an animal that would perfectly be camouflage in said environment. At the blend of the day, this is a highly recommended resource.
