Experi-Meant to fly
This project is all about creating a projectile using air science. You need stretchy material, a cup, and something to plug a hole. As always, PBS kids designs squad lays out the instructions in a clear format with pictures for every step.
I improvised this experiment by using a rubber glove and a piece of paper as the pomp om or plug. Gas how good it worked? It was just ok. The better you can get an object to seal the hole, the further your air cannon will shoot. This is a fun activity that you can use a wide variety of materials to create . Have a competition to see how far your air cannon can shoot utilizing different materials and challenges. It’s sure to be a breath of fresh air!
