This is a great lesson to explore light and its properties. The directions are simple and easy to follow, using easily accessible materials. I like that it provides separate images to viewing using the colored lenses you create in the project. The resource lacks the correct terminology to comprehensively explain the science concept. The resource should describe how different colors are more difficult to “detect” rather than to “see” using the lenses. Unfortunately, the site lacks in additional background information and resources that would extend and help develop a more thorough understanding of this concept. I would like to see some visuals showing how the different light colors react to the filters, or even a video demonstrating the path of light as it travels.
