This lessons provides a great introduction into natural hazards like landslides. The exploration and introduction include very engaging and interesting visuals and images that would certainly pique the interest of a student. The activity is fairly straightforward, having student brainstorm ideas and sharing their possible solutions. I appreciate that the lesson clearly breaks down the problem, listing and explaining the different ways a landslide is caused, then guides the student towards a solution by referring to those individual causes. Afterwards, the student are able to comprehend the bigger picture, possibly finding solutions to prevent landslides altogether. This lesson works best in a group.
