My son loved the nature boat activity so we wanted to try this one too. The supplies were easy to round up and we happen to have colorful duct tape which made it fun. I helped him with the taping but had him make all the "design" decisions. After our first test float, he decided we needed to flip one of the water bottles around so it would float more level, so we made the modification. A good lesson on testing and adjusting. He enjoyed it and had a lot of fun playing with it in the kiddie pool in the front yard.
