Having built pasta towers with students in a classroom before, students building a tower and overcoming the challenges of using the pasta to get a standing structure. Sometimes they want to keep building or try other ideas even after the time is up. The resource on this site is great for educators because it is detailed clearly and even provides the skills that align with NGSS for educators to easily identify the standards of each grade level. Even the TED video on the site provides great information on collaboration and may help educators with how to present the challenge to their students.
