This activity is designed for younger students in Kindergarten or 1st grade. I think this is great practice for students and having student document their observation by making a drawing align with scientific behaviors, for students who may know weather vocabulary they can write a short sentences or descriptions. The materials for this activity are easily accessible even without a printer, a simple blank piece of paper will work or a student journal.
