This activity can be fun for students who take their time and make a fun scene with various animals. The video is particularly good with providing lots of background information and having several examples of animals that use camouflage, including animals in the ocean. I think it’s good that it gives students an idea to do a moth, owl, or a toad, but I’d give students the option to use their imagination to think about insects or other creatures that may hide in plain sight.
