This balloon car activity is simple and fun to create and explore Newton’s third law of physics. The video provides a variety of ideas for good substitute to use on a balloon care if the items listed in the materials are not readily available at home. Another way to make a balloon car is to use a Styrofoam plate for the body by cutting two sides of the plate for a long slender body and attaching the axel and wheels to the bottom of the plate and the balloon on top similar to the instructions on the site. As for the balloon and straw, a rubber band could also be used. Overall, this activity is fun for students to build and enjoy.
