This is a great video talking about one of California’s critically endangered native species. It goes over some of California’s natural history as well as how biologists monitor and protect these animals. Slight warning that since these birds are scavengers and eat leftover animal carcasses, their food is shown. It is not overly graphic, but more sensitive viewers should be aware.
